Media Delivery

Media Delivery offers the content publisher a collection of Self-Service tools to configure and publish a Media Delivery Site for the Content Delivery Network. A site is configured for a particular traffic type, such as VOD, live streaming, software downloads, or low latency live streaming, to allow for optimization based on the unique characteristics of the traffic type. Thus if you serve different types of content, you'll configure at least one site per traffic type.

Because a site is configured for a single traffic type, all the site hosts and paths define the same traffic type.

Update your domain's DNS settings to route your website to the CDN site and you are set up to deliver content. (Alternatively, use HTTP routing.)

Once you're in production, you can view reports to monitor traffic and performance; purge and update content on the CDN cache; update the site configuration at any time to optimize media delivery.
